Provide improved options for product sorting, including bestseller, most viewed, newest, review count, highest rating and highest discount.
Summary
Product Sorting extension developed by Azaleasoft helps customers to quickly find the product they want. It enables more popular options for product sorting, including Best Seller, Most Viewed, Newest, Review Count, Highest Rating and Highest Discount. The sorting options of this extension are very useful for customers in common e-commerce websites. For example, customers will sort products by Best Seller/Most Viewed options when they try to find the most popular product; customers will sort products by Newest option for recently added product; customers will sort products by Review Count/Highest Rating options in order to refer to other customers' opinions.
With this extension, you can 1) add more these common sorting options; 2) update sorting data automatically (everyday) or manually; 3) set default sorting option from these options; 4) specify sorting options and default option for each product category; 5) customize move-to-top items for Best Seller and Most Viewed.
New Sorting Options
- Best Seller: Automatically calculate sales quantity for all of enabled products (every day).
- Most Viewed: Automatically calculate viewed data for all of enabled products (every day).
- Newest: Based on the date product is created.
- Review Count: Automatically calculate approved review count for all of enabled products (every day). Only reviews with "Approved" status are to be calculated.
- Highest Rating: Automatically calculate average rating for all of enabled products (every day). It requires to enable product rating feature on your store. Only reviews with "Approved" status are to be calculated.
- Highest Discount: Automatically calculate discount percentage for all of enabled products(every day).

- Allow to set up a cron job for updating sorting data on the admin.
- Allow to run a command line to update sorting data.
- Support several product types: simple, configurable, virtual, downloadable and bundle. Highest Discount option does not support bundle product.
- Customize move-to-top items for Best Seller and Most Viewed on the admin panel.
