Minimum Order Amount

Overview

Minimum Order Amount extension developed by Azaleasoft enables to separately set up minimum order amount for each customer group. Actually, Magento framework has default option for setting minimum order amount, but it only allows to set an amount for all of customers. For the real e-commerce websites, the customers with different group have different benefits, so it is required to separately set up minimum order amount by customer group. For example, the minimum order amount is not necessary for NOT LOGGED IN and General groups, but Wholesale group and Retailer group require to set specific values.

Setting Guide

Admin Panel

1. Make sure the extension is installed successfully, and then go to Stores->Configuration->Sales->Sales.

2. Go to Minimum Order Amount section, set "Enable" option as Yes and set "Minimum Order Amount" for each customer group. You do not have to set up amount for every customer group, you can skip some customer groups and these groups are not required minimum order amount. You also set minimum order amount as 0, so there is no purchase limitation.

Frontend

You can test this feature with several customer accounts which are assigned different customer group.
